One day away...

So we just got done with our Arabic/last curriculum workshop meeting, and I cannot be more excited for this trip. After waking up at 5:30am and driving a few hours with my sis, finally got here for the meeting early. It was a good ride with the sis, shits and giggles and many bathroom breaks for a short trip, lol, A quick arabic alphabet review then, learned about "taking in" Morocco and getting out of my Eurocentric mindset is going to be a goal of this trip. Also, I am going to be more open to letting my project open up to me more while I am there, versus having this rigid agenda like I had for the last few months.

After the meeting, I caught a quick ending glimpse of the US - Ghana game, met up with Luis and Ben who of course would be there hah. Then saw Bakhar running like a crazy animal once Ghana won, it was actually pretty funny cuz' he pissed off so many people. Now I am just practicing my "Alif Baa" and waiting for Mariss to come and pick me up. Heading to diddy, then her place. Gonna get ready and hang with Martha, Samar, Nancy, Adrian, Rudy, and Marissa, for one last hay hay in America before I am off for a month....maybe two? Til later yall - Joel
